When you book Qurbani online, one of the most common questions is: where exactly does the meat go? At Qurbani Easy, the answer is simple and verifiable — 100% of the meat from every Qurbani goes directly to poor and deserving families in the regions where your Qurbani is performed. Nothing is sold. Nothing is retained. This article explains our distribution process, who receives the meat, and how you know it happened.
Our Meat Distribution Principle
The Islamic principle of Qurbani meat distribution according to the Hanafi school is: divide the meat into three parts — one-third for yourself, one-third for relatives, and one-third for the poor. When you appoint Qurbani Easy as your wakil, you waive your own share and your relatives’ share, instructing us to give all three parts to the poor. This is fully valid and considered a higher act of generosity.
Who Receives the Meat?
Our ground teams identify deserving families before Eid — typically in the same districts or rural areas where Qurbani is performed. Recipients include:
- Daily wage labourers and their families
- Widows and families without a male earner
- Families below the poverty line in semi-urban and rural areas
- Elderly persons with no support system
- Orphans and children in difficult circumstances
In many of the areas where we operate, receiving Qurbani meat on Eid is the only time these families eat red meat throughout the year. Your Qurbani directly addresses that.
How Distribution Works on Eid Day
- Pre-Eid identification: Ground teams identify recipient families in the week before Eid.
- Slaughter on Eid day: Animals are slaughtered by our qualified qasai under scholar supervision on the 10th–12th Dhul Hijjah.
- Immediate distribution: Meat is weighed and packed immediately after slaughter. Distribution begins the same day.
- No freezing, no storage: We do not freeze meat for later distribution. Fresh meat reaches families on Eid day itself.
- Photo documentation: Our teams photograph the distribution. Selected images are included in our post-Eid transparency report.

The Proof You Receive
After your Qurbani is performed, you receive a WhatsApp message with time-stamped photo or video proof. For our Ikhlaas premium package, you receive individual video of your named animal being slaughtered with your niyyah stated aloud.
We also publish an annual post-Eid Transparency Report showing: total animals slaughtered, total families reached, regions covered, and spot photos from distribution. This report is available on our website after each Eid ul Adha.
Can I request that meat be distributed in a specific city?
We can accommodate city or state preferences when you select a city-specific Qurbani from our city pages (e.g., Qurbani Hyderabad, Qurbani Mumbai). For standard bookings via the main page, distribution is across our active regions where our teams operate.
